About the Role
We are currently seeking an Engineering Technical Advisor to join our dynamic Engineering team.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing machine technical files (aka. build specifications) across both Resource Industries (RI) and Construction Industries (CI) products. These documents are essential in enabling the Engineering department to provide comprehensive support throughout the entire machine lifecycle. This is a permanent, fulltime position based out of our Archerfield office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain machine build specification documents in HDSM to support the certification of CI equipment in alignment with the Mobile Crane Code of Practice.
- Manage and update build specifications in HDSM to align with scope requirements for new RI equipment sales.
- Oversee the Engineering enquiry system, ensuring clear ownership of queries and delivering timely, professional communication to internal stakeholders.
- Uphold document management standards to ensure efficient, legal, and secure access to content, in accordance with the company’s Machine Safety Assurance (MSA) policy and ISO 9001 compliance.
- Analyze data and trends to recommend and drive improvements to systems and processes that meet evolving customer needs.
- Coordinate with multiple business units to ensure on-time machine delivery.
- Monitor and meet key performance indicators (KPIs) such as response times, quality standards, and waste reduction targets.
About You
The ideal candidate will bring the following qualifications and experience:
- A tertiary qualification in Mechanical Design, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years in a comparable role.
- Solid understanding of the mobile plant lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Dynamics 365 Sales.
