Senior Engineer Project Management - APTD

As an Engineering Project Management Engineer in Advanced Packaging Technology Development at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for leading and managing Micron's Advanced Packaging Technology Development projects. Your role will focus on overseeing technology development operations across various TD and pre-NPI projects, ensuring that results are delivered on time and in line with APTD's technology roadmap and commitments. This position requires a customer-obsessed leader who will play a key role in the planning and implementation of APTD builds. You will engage with internal customers and both internal and external stakeholders, working collaboratively to ensure successful and timely project handovers.In this position, you will collaborate with Micron's various design and verification teams all over the world and support the efforts of groups such as Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration, Assembly and Marketing to proactively design products that optimize all manufacturing functions and assure the best cost, quality, reliability, time-to-market, and customer satisfaction.
Project/Program Management:

• Lead technology development programs and projects to deliver against defined go-to-market timelines.
• Align program- and project-level plans, dependencies, and the work you're doing to ensure timely, cohesive execution.
• Develop and maintain synchronized project schedules in collaboration with multi-functional teams.
• Ensure all work and artifacts meet program requirements and align with established business processes.
• Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and roadblocks, raise as needed to protect timelines.
• Facilitate regular evaluations of projects and meetings to track progress and address challenges.
• Monitor and communicate project status and overall program health to interested parties.
• Centralize and manage project documentation and data using SharePoint and Confluence.
• Continuously improve technology development processes, tools, and systems to drive execution efficiency.

Operations Management

• Handle technology development and engineering builds in partnership with internal and external teams.
• Define and implement build plans, priorities, turning points, and schedules with multi-functional partners.
• Forecast build, material, cost, and resource requirements, maintaining accurate planning data and tools.
• Optimize build schedules, material preparation, and logistics to align with business priorities and minimize waste and delays.
• Supervise daily execution, including wafer offloading, kitting, and support of PWF and assembly builds.
• Identify, mitigate, and escalate risks, issues, and interdependencies to protect timelines and outcomes.
• Coordinate engineering builds and APTD operations in compliance with established standards and processes.
• Lead multi-functional improvement initiatives and build strong partner relationships across programs.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent experience in Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 3-5+ years' experience in Semiconductor Frontend/Backend Manufacturing, preferably in roles related to Project/Process Integration, Project/Program Management, Technology Development, Operations Management, or Process Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated excellence in leading teams within a global manufacturing network composed of members from diverse fields and cultures.
• Proficiency in essential computer applications, including Excel, Word, statistical tools, Confluence, Teamcenter, Power BI, and Power Apps.
