At (i.e.,), everyone is welcome, regardless of your background, origin, love interests, faith, disability status, ethnicity, or the gender you identify with (please share your pronouns). We actively seek individuals who embody qualities of integrity and empathy. Our people are our most valuable asset, and the diverse skills and perspectives that individuals contribute to our team are key drivers of our success.
About the opportunity
As a lead in our engineering discipline you will have the opportunity to own the technical delivery of products for our many and varied clients. Your primary role is to oversee the technical direction of your assigned engagements and ensure that the team is supported. An important part of your role is also to act as a mentor and guide for other team members.
You will sit within a cross-functional team to support with:
- Engineering consulting - guiding our clients on technical feasibility, solution costs and participating in (i.e.,) business development. Deliver high quality technical solutions and architecture.
- Demonstrate expertise - consult clients with your own point of view and showcase your expertise and that of your team.
- Project planning and delivery - tech selection, solution design and execution
- Stakeholder management - act as a bridge between business and technical, often communicating with senior management level stakeholders with adept confidence across business related language and operations
- Leadership - mentoring more junior team members across multiple projects to ensure they are technically and professionally supported; as well as being encouraged to be innovative with new ideas in their work
We try to be technology agnostic when recommending solutions for our clients but we have a core set of platforms and stacks that we use regularly and we’d love for you to have experience with one or more of these. Above all, we're seeking someone with a solid background in web development, UX, and CMS or/and CRM systems - someone who is not only capable, but also enthusiastic about learning new skills as the need arises. This role is designed to be 80% on the tools and 20% on management.
We value demonstrated experience in two or more of the following areas:
- CMS builds using Sitecore (JSS+SXA), Contentful
- CRM builds using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- API development using .NET Core, NodeJS
- React + TypeScript and advanced CSS knowledge
- Deep focus and understanding of implementation complexity of WCAG accessibility standards
- Web Personalisation using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization
About You
- You’re passionate about your craft and you’re happy to work across technologically diverse projects.
- Communication skills are a strength and you have no trouble translating implementation details and recommendations for less technical members of the team.
- You have an understanding of, and ideally some working experience with, both cloud-native development and containerisation technologies.
- You’re passionate about thought leadership and are able to understand complex client environments, how they respond to technological change and the importance of solutions that help clients to succeed.
- You’re interested in managing others and supporting their growth and development. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and expertise to benefit those around you.
- A commercially driven mindset and the ability to ensure that solutions deliver the best business outcomes for our clients, with a strong focus on solution quality
- Although it’s not a prerequisite to succeed in this role, any consultancy experience you can bring will serve you well.
