Job Responsibilities:
Corrective Actions:
- Assist in addressing fit/dimensional issues associated with the assigned program at both the customer and supply base.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Team to implement effective corrective actions.
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement ideas to reduce scrap costs and enhance productivity and product quality.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Team to determine resolutions to customer issues through root cause analysis.
- Implement necessary process and design changes to address identified issues.
Documentation and Work Instructions:
- Support the creation and timely release of detailed work instructions to guide manufacturing processes.
- Ensure all process-related documentation, including FMEA, control plans, and work instructions, is maintained in proper order.
- Support the Corporate Ergonomics Program by creating videos and assisting in the creation of job assessments
PPAP and PDR Support:
- Support meeting PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) requirements and assist in PDR (Production Design Release) runs.
- Contribute to the success of new equipment run-offs and new program prototype builds.
Cross-Funcational Collaboration:
- Interface with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain FMEA, Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, and work instructions.
Risk Reduction:
- Assist the Engineering Team in reducing Risk Priority Numbers (RPNs).
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Currently attending a College or University in the field of Engineering or related discipline (Junior or Senior level status preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective and efficient time management skills
