The PCA squad functions within the Property and Search portfolio at REA Group, managing the property.com.au pages with the aim of becoming the leading property research site. What the role is all about

Your role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining web applications and services. You'll be part of a collaborative team environment working in agile conditions, taking on responsibilities as slice leads when required, with a product-first mindset and a strong emphasis on consumer-focused thinking.

Role responsibilities include: 

• Designing, coding, testing, deploying, and maintaining applications
• Keeping our production applications stable and healthy
• Implementation of features for our systems and products

Who we’re looking for

• Developed skills in one or more programming languages, we use TypeScript & JavaScript
• Experienced in working with modern web application frameworks, libraries, and design patterns
• Able to work on dynamic web-based products and services that scale to millions of users.
• Ability to test, learn and fail fast
• Able to assess cross-functional business implications of decisions and actions.
• Exposure to modern software development techniques such as test-driven development and continuous delivery.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate in a team environment where we come together in the office twice a week
• Ability to work productively in a fast paced, agile environment
• Familiarity with product engineering or experience with data streaming/ETL frameworks is advantageous.
