Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Manufacturing Engineer at Micron, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our manufacturing processes are flawless. Your responsibilities will include:
- Crafting, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage and mentor a team of associates in successfully running and executing all the KPI’s - Production target / Cycle Time/WIP reduction.
- Conducting regular assessments of production lines to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that improve product quality and safety.
- Applying data analysis to determine and address production issues promptly.
- Developing and maintaining documentation for all manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Training and mentoring production staff on new technologies and standard methodologies.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience of 1-2 years in a manufacturing role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft office and other engineering tools.
- A deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- The ability to strictly adhere to safety and quality standards.
