Job Summary
This role involves system planning and design, collaborating with vendors to set project specifications, and thorough inspections for compliance. It also includes efficient project documentation management and identifying new service areas, while addressing customer service issues.
Job Description
Responsibilities:

• Utilizing design software to engineer broadband systems
• Generating coaxial and fiber optic layout designs, including connectivity
• Validating design adherence to regional HFC architecture and specifications
• Conducting system analysis for optimization and simplicity
• Developing various technical drawings and maps for departmental reference
• Keeping system maps and design files current and accurate
• Handling HFC SMB and plant extensions and quality control in Spatial
• Planning and designing coaxial and fiber networks, including Metro-E projects
• Coordinating with construction and sales for project alignment
• Overseeing design package uploads to P2 and manage wavelength assignments
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
