You will join the Electrical System Team.
We are looking for talented candidates who can reinforce our project team by bringing their experience in their field of expertise as well as making the difference through proven interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Your Impact:
We are looking for an energy storage system engineer.
You will develop an High Voltage electrical energy storage system
What’s in for you?
You will join a Transnational & Multicultural team of more than 20 dynamic and experienced engineers where excellence, respect and driving the future are strong values
You will interact with a large stakeholder panel encompassing Program, flight and lab tests, supply chain, system installation, quality, procurement, certification, other aircraft systems and subcontractors
You will work with several suppliers in a transnational environment,
You will discover equipment development from design specification up to integration test
You will work on a dedicated plateau with an opportunity to mix on-site and teleworking depending on your willingness to.

Your role and responsibilities:
You will specify functional and performance requirements for energy storage and power conversion solutions for aeronautical applications
You ensure equipment integration with electrical distribution network and propulsive chain systems
You will follow their development and integration matching the required safety, quality and performance levels
you will Evaluate distinct energy storage solutions (and technologies) for future aircraft designs including their compatibility with functional and regulatory requirements
You will manage equipment Development Reviews and system development reviews,
You will steer your external suppliers to ensure equipment development compliance with defined standards of safety, cost, quality, time, performance and maturity.
You will support your suppliers in their technical challenges
You will design and/or use simulation models
You will report your activities progress status to operational hierarchy and management.
And you will be supported by a network of experts and specialists in your daily job.

You have a proven experience in energy storage and conversion systems design and integration,
You have a Proven experience with different cell chemistry (Li-Ion, supercapacitors, etc), and cell or battery protection systems,
You have experience on thermal management of battery packs and mitigation methods of thermal runaway phenomena,
You have Experience in battery management systems with charging/discharging cycles and electrical control of hybrid systems,
You have Experience in high voltage power electronics and power conversion topologies;
You have experience in modeling and simulation, testing, V&V principles;
You have strong relationship building, networking and communication skills;
You have High degree of initiative, credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust;
You are eager to learn and to have fun
Languages: Negotiation level of English - french will be a plus
