The Job:

Reporting to the Sales Manager - End to End Solutions (VIC/TAS), you will be part of our Southern Team visiting stores and end users across Melbourne.

Core Duties Include:

  • Promoting products through demonstration and instructing in their use
  • Training internal stakeholders on the specifications of all products
  • Conducting Distributor and End User training/demos at SBD Field Days, in store, End User’s sites and at major trade events
  • Maintaining a range of clean and workable power tools, accessories and materials for the purpose of demonstrations and training.
  • Provide instore support including liaising with customers, merchandising and product demonstration
  • Generating new business opportunities through End User engagement

You will:

  • Have previous sales experience, with an aptitude for business development
  • Have experience in engaging with end users and brand advocacy
  • Possess the confidence and clear communication skills to present product initiatives to end users
  • Ideally have some experience in product training to either internal or external parties
  • Preferably have experience working in a customer service role within a hardware environment or similar
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of technical concepts
  • Have strong Planning skills and be able to work in an autonomous environment
  • Most of all have a passion for working with Power Tools & Hand Tools
  • Please note there maybe Infrequent regional/overnight travel in this role
