Join Endeavour Group for a dynamic 9 - 12 month contract opportunity! We're looking for an experienced Employment Lawyer to provide expert counsel on the full range of employment matters - from advisory and workplace relations to industrial relations, discrimination, and safety - to our People & Culture team and broader business. This hybrid role allows for two days of in-office collaboration per week. (Experience in all areas is desirable, but specialisation in a subset will be considered).

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

Reporting to the Senior Lawyer - People and Claims, we have an exciting opportunity for a lawyer to join our team on a 9 - 12 months fixed term basis to help meet the demands of our recently demerged business, including to assist in establishing many of the stand-along systems and processes needed for our team.

Supporting approximately 33,000 team members across all people and safety matters, this role represents a unique opportunity to use your specialist legal and business partnering skills, and commercial acumen to provide advice and support across a range of issues.

The role supports our businesses Group-wide including, Dan Murphy's, BWS, ALH Hotels, Jimmy Brings, Pinnacle Drinks, Endeavour X and various corporate functions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical legal capability, demonstrate a commercial approach to facilitate business objectives, work in an agile manner, and operate autonomously with support from the Senior Lawyer and broader legal team. In addition to;

• Strong expertise in 3 or more of the following areas:
  • Employment matters
  • Industrial Relations
  • Safety
  • Discrimination
  • Workers Compensation
• Degree in law, a legal practising certificate and a minimum of 4-7 years post admission experience.
• Top tier firm experience (desirable)
• In-house legal experience (or secondment experience) in a large complex ASX listed organisation (desirable)
