Focus of the Role
The Emerging Technology Senior Specialist working in the Developer Platforms and Sport team plays a key role directly aligned with strategic objectives across Product Simplification, Digitisation, API first products bringing together the key internal and external teams required to make the customer experience the best for all users.

What You’ll Do
Product & Technology - Product Management is responsible for developing and managing Telstra's product portfolio.
- Contribute product, operational and/or technology expertise to the team to enable it to develop product strategic and customer outcomes
- Lead the operational excellence of the platform and product releases to achieve partner and company outcomes
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, vendors and partners to drive the execution of customer experience and commercial goals
- Support product roadmap and prioritisation of work for product upgrades, maintenance stability
- Implement data analysis techniques to effectively identify efficiencies, platform resiliency measures
- Collaborate within the product team and across the broader stakeholder group, including engineering, to create a superior end-to-end customer experience that drives platform growth and commercial growth
- Identify risks and impacts, develop and execute product releases
- Contribute deep digital product operational excellence to enable the team to continuously improve product performance, including identifying and addressing market trends, commercial matters, competitive threats, security, compliance and regulatory issues
- Participate and embrace the Agile ways of working mindset and practices for the team
- Work on optimising the end to end customer engagement process to deliver a better customer experience.
- Ensure clear direction is communicated to engineering and operations teams when defining and prioritising features, enhancements and customer requests.
About You
- Excellent domain knowledge of technical platforms and data sources within the Sports digital industry
- Experience in Australian stadia technology and onsite network testing capability
- Extensive experience in system, UAT, API, Mobile Apps and Web Testing, Charles proxy debugging tool, Postman, seeTest, and LambdaTest cloud platforms.
- Technical BA with data providers, vendor and partner API’s, CMS and internal middleware systems
- Expertise in compliance and regulatory risks associated with advertising partners and their domestic legal restrictions
- 5+ years’ experience across one or more technology/product domains
- Product management experience, with track record in developing, managing and exiting products/services
- JIRA/Confluence skills
- Experience in agile methodology & delivery
- Strong stakeholder management skills
