Electromagnetic Testing Engineer

Job Description:

In the frame of the new programmes, Electromagnetic testing capabilities will be expanded to cope with the increasing testing and measurement requirements. New measurements techniques and test means are intended to be developed and operated to support all the phases of the life cycle of our products. It will cover many the aspects of the Electromagnetic discipline including Electromagnetic Hardining and Compatibility tests, Materials Characterization,...

The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic and multidisciplinar team and will work on challenging new projects. He/she will contribute to the growth of the Electromagnetic testing capabilities and will provide vauable data for the design of the products as well as for the verification process.

Considering the transversal nature of the discipline, the jobholder will maintain close cooperation and with many different areas of the company to understand the tenchnical challenges and try to find trade-offs when needed.

Required competences and skills:

• Strong background in Electromagnetism theory.
• Practical experience on EMC tests, RF measurements and relevant instrumentation.
• Electromagnetic properties of materials.
• Programming of tools/scripts (at least Python and MATLAB)
• Knowledge on signal processing
• Post-processing tools and data processing algorithm development
• Electromagnetic simulation and modelling is a plus.
• Fundamentals on controlling RF Instrumentation.
• Automation and control electronics.
• Demonstrated experience working in International Environments
• Good Technical skills, familiar with R/T and R&D projects.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as being active part of a team.
• Ability to overcome difficulties in the development of the projects.
• Fast learner.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
