About the Role:

As a EHS Coordinator, you will support the implementation and monitoring of Lendlease’s Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Management System. Your role ensures compliance with global standards, legal obligations, and promotes a strong safety culture across high-risk construction environments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Develop and review site-specific EHS Management Plans and facilitate risk assessments.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations to ensure safety compliance.
  • Deliver EHS inductions, onboarding, and training programs tailored to site needs.
  • Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to uphold EHS standards.
  • Analyse EHS performance data and prepare reports to support decision-making.
  • Assist in preparing and closing out corrective actions from audits and investigations.
  • Support leadership in implementing safety initiatives and promoting safety culture.
  • Facilitate toolbox talks, EHS committee meetings, and workshops to drive engagement.

About You:

  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (essential).
  • Diploma in WHS, Environmental Management, or Training & Assessment (desirable).
  • Experience in EHS roles within high-risk industries.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and Federal Safety Commissioner audits.
  • Strong understanding of EHS legislation, risk management, and incident investigation.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to influence safety behaviours and drive continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic environments and managing multiple priorities.
