How you will make an impact

The Domestic Services team manages the cleaning of each Cabrini facility, including our hospitals located at Malvern and Brighton, as well as our health facilities located at Elsternwick. The Domestic Services Assistant (Cleaner) is responsible for cleaning and maintaining safe and attractive facilities. You will also make a real difference by joining a leading not-for-profit healthcare service provider and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning and servicing patient rooms and associated areas

  • Ensuring all equipment is cleaned

  • Using all equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to relevant policies, procedures, and protocols

  • Working with other hospital team members to optimise the safety, care, and overall experience of our patients

What we’re looking for

  • Experience gained in a domestic or commercial cleaning environment

  • Demonstrate a great work ethic and ability to work as an effective team player

  • Well developed communication skills including proficiency in written and spoken English

  • Effective interpersonal skills, combined with the ability to build positive and professional working relationships with patients and colleagues

  • Be self-motivated and reliable with excellent personal presentation
