Purpose;
The Domain Architect, Cloud and Workplace, reporting to the Head of Transformation, Strategy and Architecture is responsible for the strategy development, governance and solutioning of technology product within the following technology domains:
Cloud Hosting, IaaS and PaaS Services.
Workplace, End User Computing and Collaboration Services.
Network Services.
Service Management Tools and Processes.
Core responsibilities;
Development of the strategic direction, including product roadmaps for the listed technology domains, in line with broader technology and business strategy.
Development of patterns for the consumption of products with the listed technology domains.
Governance of technology solutions and implementation in line with established patterns.
Development of Solution to meet business requirements within the given technology domains.
Committee involvement;
Strategy Steerco
Architecture Review Board
Vendor Architecture Governance Activities
Qualifications;
Bachelors Degree in Technology or equivalent
Cloud (Azure preferrable) certifications preferred
Experience;
Significant experience as a solution, domain or enterprise architect.
Experience in developing strategy, patterns, optionality and solutioning for the following technology domains:
Cloud Hosting, IaaS and PaaS Services.
Workplace, End User Computing and Collaboration Services.
Network Services
Service Management Tools and Processes
Experience with agile delivery methodologies.
Experience in the auto finance industry is preferred but not essential.
