About the role:

Directors within Corporate Finance have a responsibility for managing multiple projects, staff and client relationships in a rapidly growing team, playing a key role in the leadership team.  The role will involve taking the lead on projects which require a high level of advisory input. There is also a strong responsibility for business development, stakeholder management and staff development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Management – Ensuring that projects are developed inline with client requirements, whilst managing costs, timing and communication to deliver a strong client experience
  • Opportunity Development – The ability to quickly respond to any inbound referral opportunity, and work collaboratively to develop a response to demonstrate our ability to meet the specific requirements Business Development – Leveraging both your existing relationships, and any new introductions,
  • Team Development – Working with other team members across the national team to help develop and grow their technical and client interaction capabilities
  • Technical Proficiency – Given the specific technical requirements of the team’s work, it is critical to be able to develop and review models in a manner that aligns with team best practice standards and approaches.

About you:

  • Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major
  • Completed CA or equivalent
  • 10+ years’ experience in Professional Services or industry Corporate Development roles
  • 4 - 5 years managing a team
  • Strong ethical standards
  • Business development experience
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Ability to meet and work towards deadlines
