About the role:
As a Director in the team, you will drive and own the overall success of our sustainable building certifications and advisory services, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainable real estate. You'll lead strategic initiatives, forge key partnerships, and deliver innovative solutions that set industry benchmarks while making a significant contribution to the continued growth and success of our dynamic Sustainability Consulting team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of sustainability consultants
Foster a collaborative and supportive culture, providing guidance, feedback and professional development opportunities
Oversee the successful delivery of a complex portfolio of client projects across Green Star (Interiors, Performance, Buildings), WELL certification, and broader ESD advisory
Serve as the primary trusted advisor for key clients, providing strategic counsel that aligns with business objectives
Drive technical innovation by staying ahead of industry trends and methodologies, developing cutting-edge service offerings
Lead business development strategy, identify new client opportunities, develop winning proposals, and drive commercial performance and profitability of the service line
What we are looking for:
10 years’ of experience in the sustainability consulting, architecture, or building services industry
Several years of direct experience in a team leadership or management role, with responsibility for team performance and development
Expert-level knowledge and proven success in delivering Green Star Interiors, Green Star Performance, and WELL certification projects
Comprehensive background in client-facing consulting roles
Advanced project and program management capabilities with expertise in overseeing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
Strong commercial acumen with experience in business development, proposal writing and financial management
Green Star Accredited Professional, WELL Accredited Professional and individuals with Sustainable Building Design experience are highly desirable
