About this role

We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded, and team-oriented sales and relationship manager to support the investment needs of our institutional clients across Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key institutional clients, including superannuation funds, Government-related institutions, insurance groups and related Consultants.
  • Deliver tailored investment solutions by leveraging BlackRock’s global platform, aligning with the evolving needs of clients in the region.
  • Lead business development efforts as the Account Captain for designated institutional clients, driving growth and deepening engagement.
  • Position BlackRock as the strategic partner of choice across our institutional client’s full business including Public Markets, Private Markets, Data and Technology.
  • Collaborate with senior client investment teams and internal stakeholders to design and implement bespoke investment strategies.
  • Own and manage client relationships comprehensively, from senior executives to operational contacts.
  • Contribute actively to a high-performing, collaborative team within the APAC Institutional Client Business.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in institutional relationship management, ideally within a leading multi-product investment or wealth management firm.
  • Strong understanding of public and private markets, with expertise in alternative investments.
  • High energy, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong team orientation.
  • Proven ability to build and influence relationships across senior and junior levels, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated judgment and problem-solving skills in managing complex client needs independently.
