  • Champion the integration of physical and digital touchpoints to deliver seamless, high-quality user journeys across the connected ecosystem.

  • Apply Lean and Agile practices to balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business priorities, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

  • Track and report on product KPIs, including revenue, engagement, registrations, and churn, to grow the active user base and recurring revenue.

  • Identify and pursue market opportunities, partnerships, and ecosystem integrations that drive innovation, scalability, and competitive advantage.

  • Collaborate with product lines, design, brand, IT, digital, and go-to-market teams to ensure portfolio coherence and successful product performance.

  • Ensure product compliance with privacy, safety, and regulatory requirements while championing data continuity, security, and customer privacy.

What you’ll bring:

  • 4–7+ years’ experience in product management, product ownership, or related roles within global consumer, SaaS, or mobile-first organisations.

  • Fluency in Mandarin and lived experience with Chinese culture, enabling deep understanding of customer behaviours, market expectations, and product-usage context across Chinese-speaking markets.

  • Proven track record delivering customer-centric digital products and connected appliance experiences, ideally spanning both hardware and software.

  • Practical expertise in user-centred innovation methodologies (Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Agile) to develop, iterate, and launch successful products.

  • Strong understanding of connected device ecosystems, integration protocols, and digital platforms supporting recurring revenue and subscription models.

  • Experience building and managing effective internal and external partnerships to enhance product value, accelerate delivery, and strengthen customer engagement.

  • Ability to translate market, customer, and behavioural insights into actionable product strategies and roadmaps.

  • Demonstrated commercial acumen with experience tracking and influencing key product KPIs (engagement, churn, ARPU, sales performance, etc.).

  • Comfortable collaborating across product lines, design, IT, marketing, and customer experience to ensure cohesive delivery and go-to-market success.

  • Effective communicator able to simplify complex concepts and drive alignment across technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
