In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop two or more specialized teams of managers and digital professional individual contributors with focus on supporting the development and execution of digital strategy within a large business line or functional area for cross-functional stakeholders and internal partners associated with the function or affected by its outcomes
- Identify opportunities and strategies for programs and initiatives with impact across the business line and may have enterprise-wide impact
- Lead the team by making strategic decisions to resolve highly complex issues to meet higher risk deliverables like content strategy/creation, customer experience, analytics/research or product management
- Interpret and develop range of policies and procedures for functions with moderate to higher complexity and risk
- Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior leadership
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in aligned department or business group
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
- Manage and develop two or more specialized teams of managers and digital professionals supporting Business Lending and the execution of digital strategy within Business Banking.
- Provide unified leadership, direction, and accountability for approximately 25 India-based Business Banking team members.
- Define clear operating priorities, decision rights, performance expectations, and escalation paths across the aligned teams.
Maintain strong governance and risk oversight across Business Lending initiatives, ensuring issues, dependencies, and control requirements are identified and addressed promptly. - Drive regulatory readiness by coordinating evidence, reporting, remediation, and partner engagement in alignment with applicable policies and requirements.
- Oversee accurate, timely, and decision-useful executive reporting that provides visibility into portfolio performance, delivery status, risks, and priorities.
- Identify opportunities and strategies for programs and initiatives with impact across Business Lending, Business Banking, and potentially the enterprise.
- Lead the team in making strategic decisions and resolving highly complex issues associated with higher-risk deliverables, governance, customer experience, analytics, and product management.
- Interpret and develop policies, procedures, and operating practices for functions with moderate to higher complexity and risk.
- Collaborate with and influence senior leadership and partners across product, technology, operations, risk, compliance, finance, and other functions.
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and aligned with strategic objectives.
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development, accountability, disciplined execution, effective risk management, and continuous improvement.
- 10+ years of digital product management or leadership experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
- Experience leading large or geographically distributed teams within digital product management, financial services, or a similarly regulated environment.
Demonstrated expertise in governance, risk oversight, regulatory readiness, executive reporting, and portfolio management. - Experience supporting Business Lending, commercial lending, Business Banking, or related financial products and operations.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders, resolve highly complex issues, and align cross-functional partners around priorities and decisions.
Strong talent-management, resource-planning, communication, and organizational-change capabilities.
- Provide direct, unified leadership for approximately 25 India-based Business Banking team members supporting Business Lending.
Maintain clear visibility into commitments, delivery performance, governance, risks, regulatory obligations, and executive-level priorities. - Ensure leadership responsibilities are not fragmented or absorbed by already-constrained leaders, preserving effective oversight and decision-making.
- Operate effectively across time zones and organizational boundaries while maintaining strong partnership with U.S.-based and global stakeholders.
