The Opportunity
As a Digital PR Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening our partners’ brand authority and boosting their visibility across AI‑driven search platforms. If you thrive in a people‑focused, innovative, and agile culture, this is your opportunity to contribute to work that truly matters.
Reporting to the Corporate Communications Manager, you’ll develop and deliver authority building strategies that elevate our partners in digital spaces. You will drive earned media, community engagement and thought leadership initiatives that build credibility, increase citations and support Generative Search performance. This is a collaborative role that works closely with content, social and marketing teams to amplify high value PR activity and ensure everything we deliver reflects our partners’ brands, values and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute values aligned digital PR and authority‑building strategies for priority partners
- Secure meaningful earned coverage across digital platforms
- Lead thought leadership initiatives, including authored content, storytelling, webinars and case studies
- Collaborate across social, content and marketing teams to maximise reach and impact
- Monitor partner reputation, citation growth and backlink performance
- Identify opportunities to strengthen partner presence across high‑authority environments that influence LLMs
- Ensure all PR activity is aligned to brand values, tone and governance
About you
- Bachelor's degree in communications or marketing
- 3–5 years’ experience in digital PR, earned media or authority‑building
- Strong understanding of how citations support AI‑driven search visibility
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑moving environment
- Experience in higher education or purpose‑led brands is highly desirable
- A keen interest in the evolution of thought leadership and trust‑building in the era of Generative Engine Optimisation
