Digital Marketing Specialist (Maternity Cover)

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The Digital Media Strategist is a client-facing role. They focus on maximizing Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) for clients and boosting Amadeus's profitability. They work with the Media Analyst and Ad Operations team from media plan creation to campaign launch. They implement strategies and optimizations throughout the campaign.

The Digital Strategist excels in client communication. They guide the client experience through various milestones. They need a strong understanding of Display, Social, and Paid Search. They use their expertise to achieve goals with creativity and flexibility.

This role involves proactive campaign management. It requires an in-depth understanding of the client's property and marketplace. The strategist collaborates with internal teams. They integrate Amadeus products (Business Intelligence & Reservation) to achieve the client's goals efficiently and cost-effectively.

This position is a 12-months Fixed Term Maternity Leave Cover and for full-time candidates.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of client needs and establish a cohesive, trusting relationship.

  • Conduct conference calls with high value clients regarding campaign performance and recommend modifications for improved campaign performance, while providing analysis and commentary for client reports.

  • Research and develop strategy and media plans for clients; identify target audience; recommend budgets and ideal media channels.

  • Recommend new products and budget re-allocation/growth for existing clients.

  • Stay up-to-date on Client/Competition/Agency/Industry business through trade publications, newspapers, and websites, and assess the potential impact of industry events/trends on the client’s business.

  • Manage client onboarding and renewal process.

  • Work with Analyst to draft ad copy and keywords and present them to clients for approval.

  • Initiate campaign set-up and workflow for tracking tags.

  • Manage creative development and client approval process.

  • Establish deadlines for various components to achieve completed projects by designated due dates.

  • Ensure all new and renewal campaigns launch and quality SLAs are met.

Relevant Work Experience:

  • Proficient experience in Online and social media

  • Handson experience in implementing and managing Digital Media Campaigns through Google Ads, Meta/Facebook and/or relevant channels

  • Proven experience in a client facing role, with a demonstrated passion for innovation, strategy, thinking outside of the box and establishing positive customer relationships, every time.

  • Ability to professionally represent Amadeus at client meetings and on conference calls

  • Strong copy writing skills

  • Ability to effectively influence key internal partners at all levels within the organization

  • Good to have knowledge or experience in the Hotel Marketing, Hospitality or Tourism industry

  • Relevant Degree in field of study; may include Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Business Intelligence, Statistics or Finance preferred.
