About the role
We’re looking for a Digital Business Analyst to join our Digital Experience & Engineering team on a 12-month contract. This role is pivotal in translating complex business and customer needs into clear, actionable requirements that shape exceptional digital experiences for our customers. As a Digital Business Analyst, you'll uncover the 'why' behind our priorities, use data-driven insights to define and validate opportunities, and work lean in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You'll collaborate closely with designers, developers, testers, and product owners to frame problems, guide discovery and strengthen agile ways of working for our product and engineering teams.
Key responsibilities:
Gather, analyse and document customer & business requirements for digital features and journeys.
Support discovery activities to define the problem, validate opportunities and shape solution options.
Translate insights into user stories, business rules, process flows and acceptance criteria.
Work closely with Product Owners, Designers and Developers across agile squads.
Use analytics and UX insights to identify improvements and monitor digital channel performance.
Contribute to agile ceremonies and help uplift ways of working (Scrum/Kanban).
Collaborate with stakeholders across Customer, Technology and Delivery teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
What you’ll bring
Experience delivering requirements for digital products (native mobile + responsive web).
Strong familiarity with Authenticated Web experiences (logged‑in customer journeys).
Hands‑on experience with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) content or component‑driven delivery.
Comfortable working with APIs and tools like Charles / SOAP UI for request–response analysis.
Proficiency with Jira & Confluence for requirement management.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business teams.
Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data and UX findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
We offer a range of flexible working and leave options, so you can balance your work and life commitments and interests. Have a conversation with us about how this could work for you.
We embrace diversity with a foundation of safety, wellbeing and inclusion; where everyone belongs. We treat everyone with fairness, consideration and respect, regardless of gender, gender identity, marital or family status, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, religious beliefs, cultural or socio-economic background, perspective, and experience – whether they work for us or not. We want to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe to express ideas, questions and concerns.
We strongly encourage applications from candidates of diverse backgrounds and lived experiences, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people living with disability. If you require any adjustments or support during the recruitment process, please contact us on [email protected].
