Digital Copywriter

This role is an Australia-based, fully work-from-home position, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. 

The Digital Copywriter is a key contributor to Montu’s fast-paced, high-performing B2C Marketing team. This role is responsible for producing persuasive, user-first digital content that converts. With a strong focus on performance marketing and website copy. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, works autonomously with little support, and leverages AI tools to increase velocity and output across platforms. This is a role for a copywriter who blends creativity with conversion thinking, is fluent in UX writing principles, and knows how to reduce cognitive load while delivering compelling brand messages.

Key Responsibilities:
Performance + Website Copy

• Write high-converting copy for performance campaigns across Meta, Google Ads, Tiktok, Youtube, and emerging channels. 
• Own the creation of website copy and landing page content with a focus on user experience, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), and clarity. 
• Run A/B and multivariate tests on messaging, iterating based on performance data. 
• Collaborate closely with product, growth, performance marketing, design and lifecycle teams to ensure a cohesive and effective user journey. 
• Craft persuasive, benefit-led product copy that brings new innovations to life while capturing key USPs and technical details.
• Embrace AI tools to boost speed, scalability, and ideation. Doing the work of multiple copywriters without sacrificing quality. 
• Create in-depth, long-form and well-researched content that will help achieve organic visibility.
   

Brand Content + Strategy

• Develop consistent, on-brand messaging across marketing touchpoints including website, blogs, emails, social media, and internal materials. 
• Synthesise real patient insights (interviews, reviews, research) to shape persuasive, patient-first messaging to be leveraged across all channels and mediums.  
• Support brand campaigns, product launches, and company announcements with creative copy that elevates perception and drives action. 
   

Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Deliver on individual and set departmental OKR and KPI’s as determined from time to time.
• Time to publish for campaign assets 
• Conversion rate improvements from landing page copy changes 
• Increase in click through rate (CTR) from paid ads 
• Organic traffic uplift from long-form SEO content 

• Familiarity with AI writing tools and ability to integrate into a high-output workflow is a big plus. 
• A minimum of 5 years experience writing digital-first, conversion focused copy, preferably in a fast paced, high growth environment. 
• Proven experience crafting UX copy that reduces the cognitive load and improves user journeys. 
• Portfolio demonstrates strength across short and long form ad copy, website and CRO writing. 
• Experience creating copy for performance campaigns, eDMs, Social Media, Websites and Blogs
• Experience working in a health, or other regulated environment would be beneficial.
• Creativity and storytelling prowess, adaptable to different tones and styles.
• Deep understanding of content performance metrics and testing frameworks.
