The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications, this role is dedicated to architecting and producing GEO‑optimised content that bridges the gap between human intent and generative engine retrieval. You’ll deliver persona‑led and course‑led landing pages, apply structured writing frameworks, and maintain accuracy, consistency and compliance across all higher education content experiences. Collaboration is central to the role, working closely with GEO Specialists, Marketing, Digital and Comms teams to ensure alignment, efficiency and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, structure and optimise machine‑readable content for our education partners course and support pages.
- Apply GEO best practice including summaries, FAQs, semantic signals and persona‑driven content.
- Manage the single source of truth for all GEO content across AI tools and enablement platforms.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand, tone, compliance, and factual accuracy standards.
- Collaborate with GEO Specialists on the alignment between SEO, GEO and AI‑search strategy.
- Continuously monitor, test and optimise content based on performance insights and stakeholder goals.
- Work with Marketing, Digital and Comms to streamline review and approval workflows.
About you
- 3+ years of structured digital content writing experience (Higher Education or complex B2B highly regarded)
- A deep understanding of traditional SEO versus GEO
- Strong proficiency with AI writing tools (Jasper, Claude) and understanding of how LLMs interpret content
- Experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush, GA4, and ideally AI‑visibility tracking
- Ability to translate complex curricula into accessible, conversational content without losing academic integrity
- Proven capability delivering large‑scale content builds, migrations or clusters under tight deadlines.

- Delivery of 320 GEO‑optimised pages by July 2026.
- Increased Share of Model
- Effective use of AI tools to increase content speed‑to‑publish and reduce rework.
- High stakeholder satisfaction through clarity, accuracy and usability of content.
