As the Digital Content Coordinator you’ll play a key role in supporting the creation and execution of entertaining and inspiring social content to help Australians to ‘Drink Better for Less’ and to engage our Millennial and Gen Z customers.  

Work in a highly talented, supportive and dynamic Content Team to help deliver Dan Murphy’s social media and content creator strategy. 
You’ll have a passion for all things social and stay up-to-date in the latest in pop culture. You are organised, a confident writer and full of creative ideas ready to action (film & create) in a heartbeat!

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • Work with teams across Dan’s end to end, creating a customer first team culture.
  • Manage Dan Murphy’s social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest) including content creation, copywriting, and calendar management, aligning with brand voice. 
  • Handle social media uploads, proactive community management (some out-of-hours work required), and performance reporting. 
  • Support content creator/influencer strategy and executes creative assets with agency partners. 
  • Captures content (e.g., events, behind-the-scenes) and provides production support for photoshoots.
  • Assists with supplier/brand collaborations to boost engagement. 
  • Leads product/sample ordering for shoots and send-outs.
  • Supports the Wine Merchant Store Team Social Advocacy Program. 
  • Coordinates with Customer Service Hub for reactive community management and campaign communication. 
  • Leads proactive community engagement with Endeavour Customer Service. Manages Content Team invoicing and budget. 
  • Fosters collaborative relationships across departments (marketing, merchandise, retail media, operations) and works cross-functionally to support initiatives.
  • Upholds Dan Murphy’s Values and promotes a customer-first culture.

 

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you: 

  • Experience in marketing (2+ years), even better if you've worked within retail, drinks, lifestyle, fashion, or lifestyle brands, or as part of an agency.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in business and/or marketing.
  • Confident with writing and developing social media content and copy.
  • A tech genius with every editing app possible, who lives & breathes social and you're always on top of the next emerging trend.
  • Passion for content marketing with a great eye for socials and strong visual aesthetic.
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Hands-on, comfortable rolling up your sleeves, with an ability to adapt quickly to situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the Australian social media landscape including content creators, influencers.
  • Experience working with social insights tools.
  • This role requires a full drivers license and vehicle to be able to attend and bring product to photoshoots.
