About the Team

Secret Media Network is a digital media group focused on recommending perfect plans, discovering great places, sharing things to do and relevant breaking news in different cities around the world. Our family is composed of Secret NYC, Secret Sydney, Secret LA, Secret Singapore, Secret Tokyo, Secret Toronto, Secret London, Lisboa Secreta, Paris Secret, Madrid Secreto, Secret Brisbane, and more!

About the role
  • Drive audience growth and engagement across multiple Secret Melbourne social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Threads) by scheduling content, writing copy, and monitoring content and channel performance.
  • Create high-quality and engaging text and visual content for these social media accounts. Schedule and engage users with original, compelling copy.
  • Evaluate and develop the local/regional content strategy for our audience. Create, plan, and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies.
  • Monitor, track, analyze, and report on social media platform performance.
  • Stay current with social media trends and source content accordingly.
  • Ensure marketing and social media campaigns are aligned with the communication strategy on all platforms and optimize posts for engagement and search.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies, maintaining the Secret Media Network editorial voice in headlines and copywriting across multiple verticals and platforms.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals, and influencers. Always open to creating new digital deals and partnerships!
  • Work with the Social Media Teams and Editorial Executives to schedule and promote editorial-sponsored content across all platforms. Collaborate with our Strategist team for a 360-degree perspective on Social Media.
  • Complete timely qualitative and quantitative analysis/reporting to improve our performance.
  • Conduct research, gather insights, test new tools, evaluate trends, and adapt practices accordingly.
About you
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Passionate about Digital Marketing, with a degree or equivalent experience focusing on digital portfolio projects.
  • Stays up-to-date with digital technology trends. Has a strong understanding of digital media trends, with a good feel for what makes content popular onlineYou have a knack for all things social—knowing all the right places to look for killer content.
  • Proficient in Canva, skilled in editing short-engaging videos, and familiar with social media tools like Creators Studio, Storrito, Later; experience with design/editing tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, CapCut is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive entrepreneur mindset with a proactive approach, ownership mentality, and effective team communication.
  • Is flexible and can handle the demands of a newsroom, where breaking news is always on the verge!
