Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining YAML-based CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps to support application development teams. You will implement and integrate a range of DevSecOps tooling and automation to strengthen and streamline the build and release processes, ensuring that security and quality are embedded at every stage of delivery.

You will work closely with software engineers to enable secure, high‑quality, and efficient delivery workflows, providing guidance and support on best practices throughout the development lifecycle. A key part of the role involves troubleshooting pipeline issues, optimising performance, and continually enhancing DevSecOps engineering standards across the organisation.

Collaboration is central to this position. You will operate within a supportive, team‑oriented environment, contributing to the resolution of complex technical challenges and partnering with stakeholders to uplift engineering capability and delivery maturity.

Qualifications

Significant years of engineering experience,  especifically authoring Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines in YAML.

  • Strong experience with DevSecOps toolchains, including:
    • Azure DevOps
    • JFrog (Artifactory/Xray)
    • Sonar (SonarQube / SonarCloud)
  • Solid knowledge of secure pipeline practices, software build processes, and release automation.
  • Experience with integration solutions using Azure services (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, etc.) is a plus

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience supporting pipelines for:
    • .NET applications (containerised apps, SPA, Azure-hosted apps)
    • Java/Maven applications
  • Familiarity with containerised build and deployment workflows.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner effectively with developers and stakeholders.
