• Newly created position for an experienced client-side hospitality Project Manager, supporting a strong pipeline of gaming room refurbishment projects
• End to end project management and delivery of Gaming Room refurbishments
• Based in Melbourne

As a Development Project Manager - Gaming, you will manage the design, approvals and delivery of gaming room refurbishment projects across VIC, SA, & NSW.

Here is a taste of what you can expect in this role:

• Delivery of the Gaming Room refurbishment program across predominantly VIC, SA & NSW
• End to end project management of gaming room refurbishments including:
  • Scoping and feasibility of projects
  • Management of external consultants and suppliers
  • Lead the design development process from concept through detailed documentation
  • Manage authority, building, liquor licence/gaming approvals and regulatory compliance
  • Tender, negotiate and appoint contractors
  • Oversee construction delivery across multiple live hospitality sites
  • Manage cost control, variations and financial reporting
  • Ensure minimal disruption to trading operations
  • Lead project handover including defect management
• Creating and maintaining project schedules, cost plans, specifications and construction standards
• Overseeing project budgets, builders’ scope of works, documentation and contract administration
• Ongoing review of builders performance, including scope, program, materials and on-site costs
• Opportunity to influence design and operational outcomes

Now let’s talk about you: 

• Extensive experience in the end-to-end delivery of gaming room refurbishments is essential.
• Proven experience in client-side construction project management within live environments.
• Strong understanding of Liquor and Gaming regulations. 
• Experience managing design, town planning, and specialist consultants.
• Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, or a related discipline
• This role will require regular travel
