About the Role:

We are looking for a Development Manager to join the Victorian development team, with a primary focus on Town Hall Place. Located at the intersection of Swanston and Flinders Street, the building will become an important landmark for Melbourne. Integrated with Metro Town Hall Station below and housing a next generation office with a retail ground floor that stitches in with Melbourne’s iconic laneways. As the Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the key phases of project delivery including design, approvals, procurement, construction, and handover.

  • Manage consultants, contractors, and authority negotiations to ensure timely approvals and compliance.

  • Drive the development of applications, design documentation, and project governance.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align product design with market positioning and customer needs.

  • Monitor competitor activity and provide insights to inform product strategy.

  • Maintain project budgets, timelines, and reporting across all development stages.

About You:

This is a dynamic role for a strategic thinker. You will have a proven experience working in complex projects with excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills. You will also have:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in development roles

  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

  • Adaptable, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.

  • Tertiary qualification in Property, Architecture, Urban Design, or related field.
