Responsibilities:
- Own and manage data governance activities for assigned business domains
- Define, maintain, and enforce data standards, business rules, and data quality requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to establish and maintain data definitions, metadata, and data lineage
- Ensure master and reference data are accurate, consistent, and aligned across systems
- Identify, analyse, and resolve data quality issues, working closely with business and technical teams
- Support data mapping, transformation, and integration initiatives to ensure compliance with governance standards.
- Facilitate the creation and maintenance of business glossaries, data dictionaries, and data catalogues
- Participate in data governance forums, councils, and working groups.
- Monitor and report on data quality metrics, governance KPIs, and compliance activities
- Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Support data migration, transformation, and reporting initiatives by validating data requirements and quality expectations
- Act as a subject matter expert for data governance policies, standards, and best practices
