The Role
We are seeking a highly driven and talented Data Scientist to join our dynamic and growing team. This role requires an individual with a passion for leveraging advanced analytics, statistical modelling, and machine learning to extract actionable insights from complex data. The successful candidate will design and implement predictive models, drive data-driven decision-making, and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the business.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning and statistical techniques.
- Extract, transform, and analyse large, complex data sets with SQL, Python, and/or R.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and automated workflows to support model training and deployment.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and advanced analytics to uncover insights and trends.
- Communicate findings, model outputs, and strategic recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor junior analysts to execute the data science roadmap and foster analytical excellence.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or R for statistical analysis, machine learning, and data manipulation.
- Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with structured and unstructured data sources.
- Solid understanding of data warehouses, dimensional data models, and data lake architectures using Databricks.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost).
- Knowledge of deep learning techniques and their practical application to business problems.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of analytics products and experimentation frameworks (e.g. A/B testing).
