Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end data migration activities including planning, extraction, transformation, validation, and loading of data across systems

  • Analyse source and target system data structures to define mapping, transformation rules, and migration requirements

  • Develop and execute data migration strategies, plans, and schedules aligned with project timelines

  • Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and SMEs to define data requirements and resolve data issues

  • Coordinate and support migration testing activities including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

  • Identify and manage data migration risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies

  • Support cutover planning, migration execution, and post-migration validation and reconciliation

  • Maintain data migration documentation including mapping specifications, migration logs, and reconciliation reports

  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards throughout migration activities 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience in data migration, data integration, or data implementation projects

  • Experience analysing and working with structured data across databases, data warehouses, or cloud platforms (e.g., solutions hosted on Microsoft cloud environments)

  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, validation, and reconciliation

  • Experience with data migration and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, SSIS, Talend, or Azure Data Factory)

  • Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation logic, and data quality principles

  • Experience supporting system implementations such as ERP, CRM, or enterprise platforms

  • Ability to perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting of migration issues

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with ability to work across business and technical teams

  • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with high attention to detail

Clearance Requirement:

  • Security clearance is mandatory for this role.
