As a Data Engineer, you will be working with a team of data engineers to deliver high-quality mission-critical data platforms for our stakeholders. You will use your expertise in Azure Data Factory, dbt, SQL Server and Snowflake to design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines, data models, and data warehouses. You will be a key part of the full delivery lifecycle, including planning, testing, deployment, and support.

- Design, develop, test, and deploy data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, dbt, and Snowflake.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and scalability across all platforms.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Develop Power BI and SSRS reports to support business insights.
- Contribute to data engineering best practices and standards within the team.
- Monitor and support production systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Expertise in query optimization, indexing strategies, and performance tuning for large-scale databases.
To be considered for this role you will possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in Fintech, Banking is required.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or data integration.
- Experience in API data integration and working with RESTful or SOAP APIs.
- Proficient in SQL including T-SQL scripting, and familiar with data modelling and transformation techniques.
- Great experience with Data testing.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, dbt, Snowflake, or similar cloud-based data platforms.
- Certifications in Azure, Snowflake, SQL Server are highly desirable.
- Experience with SSIS/SSRS/Power BI is a plus.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Passionate about data and eager to learn new technologies and tools.
Key Stakeholders
- Reports to the Data Engineering Practice Lead as part of the Architecture and Common Platforms team
- Works with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to ensure that data provided via key platforms is available when and where it is needed
- Works with Architecture and Common Platforms practices
- Works with other business stakeholders and IT teams as required
