The Data Annotation Specialist for English Australia language speakers will be responsible for Data Tagging, Data Validation, Data Classification, Image Identification, and other related tasks. As an Entry-level role, Welocalize will offer learning support, and you will be able to gain experience in this area in the AI industry. 

 


MAIN DUTIES

  • Assign accurate tags to data to ensure effective Data Tagging. 
  • Verify the accuracy and consistency of data during Data Validation processes. 
  • Categorize data into predefined classes for Data Classification. 
  • Identify and label images appropriately in image identification tasks. 
  • Detect the presence of target audio events in audio files for Audio Event Detection (AED). 
  • Evaluate Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) model performance and provide reasons for differences. 
  • Perform other related tasks as needed. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in English from Australia (ILR Level 5 or CEF C2). 
  • Web-savvy and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Attention to detail. 
  • Ability to conduct thorough research within allocated time. 
  • Reliable computer system and internet connection. 
  • Must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement for client confidentiality.
