About the Team

GTM Data & Operations powers Manifest's go-to-market motion: B2C and B2B marketing, sales, RevOps, and finance. A central data platform team owns the data warehouse and the pipelines that feed it (CRM, ad platforms, product, billing). This role turns that foundation into the trusted reporting, attribution, and self-serve insight the business runs on. It’s a small team with company-wide surface area: every growth decision at Manifest, where to spend, which channels work, what a customer is worth, runs through this team’s output.

About the Role

You'll own Manifest's go-to-market data and operations layer: the reporting, attribution, and workflow automation marketing and sales run on. You'll turn data into trusted, self-serve answers and automate the manual work that slows the team down, partnering with the data platform team that owns the infrastructure. It’s hands-on, high-ownership, and you'll build the function as it scales.

What You’ll Do
  • Turn data into answers: build the reporting, attribution, and dashboards that tell marketing and sales what's working, so the team measures and iterates with confidence

  • Own one trusted view of revenue, spend, and funnel: define the models and metrics, with the platform team building the pipelines beneath, so everyone works off the same numbers

  • Automate: replace manual workflows, reporting pulls, lead routing and handoffs, campaign and lifecycle ops, with automated and increasingly AI/agent-driven ones

  • Own web and product analytics for growth: reconcile Amplitude with GA4, stand up AEO reporting as search shifts to AI answer engines, stitch the full visit-to-signed-case journey

  • Build toward conversational BI: curated datasets and AI-readable documentation so anyone can ask a data question and trust the answer (a v1 agent on BigQuery already exists to build on)

  • Run one prioritization queue across marketing, sales, RevOps, and finance, set the delivery cadence and quality bar

What We're Looking For
  • 5-8+ years across go-to-market analytics and operations, ideally as an early or founding ops/analytics hire who owned it end to end

  • Strong SQL and BI chops; comfortable building reporting and attribution on a cloud warehouse (we run BigQuery + dbt). You don't need to be a data engineer, the platform team owns the infra

  • Marketing/GTM ops depth: built and automated workflows in a martech/CRM stack (HubSpot or similar), lead routing, lifecycle, campaign ops

  • Automation-minded and AI-native: you reach for automation and AI/agents to kill manual work, and you've shipped data products that LLMs or agents consume

  • GTM measurement: paid media, web and product analytics, attribution

  • New York City, in-office 5 days/week

This is for you if....

You want to be at the tip of the spear of a once-in-a-generation shift in how professional services are delivered. You love turning messy, manual work into clean automated systems. You want to own a function end to end at a fast-moving company, in person, alongside a great group of people.

This is not for you if....

  • You need a mature platform team and clean upstream data to be productive

  • You want to be purely a manager or purely an IC, this role is deliberately both

  • You’re looking for remote or hybrid, we build in person in NYC

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
