Job Description

We’re looking for a commercially driven Data Analyst to join our high-performing Sales Operations team on a fixed term contract (12 months). This role plays a key part in delivering the data, insights and reporting tools that enable our Sales teams to perform at their best.

You’ll take ownership of core reporting processes across commissions, sales targets, and performance tracking, while also playing a key role in supporting monthly business reviews through the preparation of insights, performance summaries, and actionable commentary. The role combines strong technical capability with a deep understanding of sales processes, making it ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data and business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain reporting solutions that support commission schemes, sales targets, and team performance metrics
  • Build and enhance Tableau dashboards and SQL queries to drive visibility and alignment across the commercial organisation
  • Perform data testing, reconciliation, and validation to ensure reporting accuracy and trust
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across sales, service, and finance to align on key metrics and performance drivers
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to support commercial decision-making and strategic initiatives
  • Support data migration and reporting transformation projects by identifying lineage issues, validating outputs, and ensuring continuity of reporting
  • Provide training, documentation, and support to encourage self-service use of reporting tools and dashboards

Qualifications

  • Experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Analytics, Revenue Operations, or a similar data-focused role
  • Strong skills in Excel
  • Strong skills in SQL and Tableau, with a track record of building clear and impactful dashboards and queries
  • Confident working with sales data including accounts, revenue, pipeline, and performance targets
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders to understand challenges, define requirements, and deliver tailored reporting solutions
  • Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to data validation, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and PowerPoint at an intermediate to advanced level
