We are hiring a Data Analyst, Authentication and Grading to join the Brand Protection team at PSA. This role will focus on utilizing deep data analysis and insights to support the strategy and growth of the PSA Grading, Authenticity Guarantee and Brand Protection teams. The ideal candidate is an independent thinker with a bias for action, and is equal parts analytical, strategic, and entrepreneurial. This candidate will be familiar with core concepts across the technology landscape and will have expertise in marketing analytics and/or product analytics. Intellectual curiosity is a must.

You'll report to the Senior Brand Protection Manager and work onsite from our Santa Ana, CA office with occasional travel to our other domestic and international offices.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and own reporting and insights for PSA’s main business lines including Authentication and Grading

  • Conduct in-depth analyses to identify opportunities to optimize internal processes; synthesize findings and make recommendations to stakeholders via a regular monthly or quarterly report out

  • Partner with data platform, grading and operations teams to define key metrics necessary to meet business objectives

  • Build automated reports and dashboards to evaluate business performance and provide actionable insights to Authentication and Grading leadership and stakeholders

  • Utilize the strategic insights you identify to help create strategic next steps for the Authentication, Grading, Research Training and Brand Protection teams

  • Create ad-hoc reports as needed to support Grading and Operations leadership across all domestic and international offices

Who you are:

  • 2+ years of experience in a relevant product, data, or analytics role, preferably with experience in consumer technology

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Lightdash, Mode, Looker, etc.

  • Experience pulling large, complex datasets using SQL and building data abstractions to support reporting and analysis

  • Self-starter and natural problem solver who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments

  • Deeply analytical thinker who is passionate about using data to drive impact for customers and the business

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; highly organized and detail oriented

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, candidates holding a Master's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field is strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of sports cards or trading card games, preferred 

Salary Range: 

The salary range for this position is $72,438 - $117,605. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set. This role may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation, please ask your recruiter for details.
