The Role

We are seeking a Customer Technology Advisor (Application Management Services)who can support our customers to develop their Applications roadmap and drive growth in Kyndryl’s Application Management Services (AMS) business. You will act as a trusted advisor where this role will be pivotal in working closely with cross-functional teams during pre-sales and solutioning phases. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong business acumen across various industries to develop innovative solutions that meet customer needs and expand our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain deep knowledge of major application domains including ERP and Custom applications

  • Engage with customers to understand their application management needs

  • Provide expert guidance on application-specific challenges and opportunities

  • Leverage your domain expertise to create tailored solutions and value propositions for customers

  • Conduct discovery sessions and workshops to gather requirements

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and consultants  to gather and analyse functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs

  • Architect comprehensive AMS solutions tailored to customer requirements

  • Collaborate with technical teams and SME’s to ensure solution feasibility and excellence

  • Incorporate industry best practices and innovative approaches in solution design

  • Develop and present compelling value propositions for AMS offerings

  • Contribute to the development and execution of Kyndryl’s Application Services growth strategy

  • Identify new market opportunities and potential service offerings

  • Analyse market trends and competitor strategies to inform business decisions
    Propose and drive initiatives to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies

  • Provide insights to shape the company's AMS strategy and service portfolio

  • Work effectively with teams across different countries and time zones

  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across global delivery centres

  • Align local capabilities with global service offerings


Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • At least 12 years of Solution Design and Consulting experience with at least 7+ years of experience in designing Application Services and solutions including AMS.

  • Strong understanding of various application technologies (ERP, CRM, Mainframe, DBMS, Web Technologies, Cloud Platforms, Integration & Middleware, BI & Analytics, CMS, Custom Development, Mobile App Platforms, DevSecOps & Emerging Technologies)

  • Familiarity with application lifecycle management (ALM) processes and tools covering Strategy, Design, Assessment and Services across Application Engineering and Application Operations

  • Proven track record in pre-sales activities and solution design for large-scale Application Services engagements.

  • Deep knowledge and experience in multiple industries and their specific application challenges (BFSI, Public Sector, Retail, Manufacturing & Telecom)
