As an EPeep, you’ll work on projects that have a real impact on students' lives and have the freedom, support and resources you need to develop your skills and grow your career.

Are you a teacher who is passionate about helping students succeed and ready to step beyond the classroom?

We’re looking for someone to join our Essential Assessment (EA) team, our Primary Numeracy and Literacy assessment platform loved by more than 2800+ schools across Australia, as a Customer Success Manager.

In this role, you’ll own a portfolio of schools using Essential Assessment, proactively supporting them via phone, email, and in-person visits while building strong relationships with teachers, Heads of Departments, and Senior Leadership. You’ll help schools unlock the full potential of their Essential Assessment subscription, driving product adoption, achieving their goals and supporting key business objectives. You’ll also play a vital role in representing the Essential Assessment brand in your region, advocating for best practices and making a meaningful impact on students’  Numeracy and Literacy outcomes in New South Wales and beyond.

What you will do

  • Monitor school engagement using customer health metrics and intervene proactively to address potential issues
  • Respond promptly and effectively to customer queries related to their use of EA
  • Assess no-usage and low-usage schools regularly, implementing strategies to increase engagement and reduce the risk of downsell or churn
  • Contribute data and insights on school activity within the portfolio when required
  • Maintain key tools such as EA Admin, Hubspot, and Subskribe, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with team and company processes
  • Share insights on schools’ needs, requests and NSW market trends
  • Suggest and contribute to the creation of customer help guides and other educational resources to promote best practices for using Essential Assessment
  • Support the success of  in-person educator conferences, online platform webinars and external events as required

About you

  • NSW-based, ideally in Sydney and comfortable working from home but willing to travel within NSW and visit schools on a regular basis
  • Australian Primary teaching and/or leadership experience with a strong passion for education, particularly in Numeracy and Literacy
  • Experience using Essential Assessment would be highly advantageous
  • Experience presenting or delivering training - whether in-person or online, you’re comfortable leading sessions with a range of audiences and school stakeholders
  • Strong coaching and training skills, with the ability to adapt to different learning styles
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with others over phone, email and face-to-face
  • A natural problem-solver who can think on your feet and find creative solutions
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Confidence using technology and a willingness to learn new tools and systems
  • Prior experience in customer success and/or a commercial role is highly regarded, but not essential
  • A strong desire to step out of the classroom and into a role where you can make a broader impact in education.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
