Summary:
As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing application features, and ensuring that the applications function smoothly and efficiently. You will also engage in problem-solving discussions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance application performance and user experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Engage in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Developing, modifying, and maintaining COBOL and PL1 applications, including both online (CICS) and batch processing systems.
- Writing, testing, and debugging COBOL and PL1 code, ensuring high-quality software delivery through unit testing, integration testing, and other quality assurance activities.
- Optimizing mainframe programs for performance and efficiency, including database interactions (DB2) and data access (VSAM).
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Collaborating with business team, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including flowcharts, operational procedures, and automated processes.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
