This role is an Australia-based, fully work-from-home position, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Job Description

The CRM Specialist – Tech & Data plays a pivotal role in enabling Montu Group’s data-powered CRM strategy across all of our brands. This role will support the design, build and optimisation of CRM journeys and communications through hands-on execution within Braze and across the broader CRM tech stack.

As a Braze superuser, you’ll work closely with the Lifecycle, Performance, and Operations teams to implement personalised, multi-channel communications. You’ll ensure journeys are technically sound, data is flowing correctly and CRM systems are scalable, stable, and compliant. This is a role for someone who thrives in both the detail and the system-level thinking — turning briefs into structured, automated, and high-impact patient experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Build & Deploy Journeys – Create, QA, and launch targeted campaigns in Braze (email, SMS, content cards, in-app messaging) with precision and attention to detail.

  • Personalisation at Scale – Use Liquid, dynamic content, and modular templates to deliver tailored patient and practitioner experiences.

  • Data-Driven Execution – Configure attributes, events, and tags to power segmentation, triggers, and personalisation.

  • Platform Performance – Monitor and troubleshoot Braze journeys, ensuring data flows and audience logic run smoothly.

  • Multi-Channel Optimisation – Integrate campaigns across web, app, and landing pages to enhance lifecycle communications.

  • Compliance-First CRM – Maintain robust consent handling, preference centres, and compliance with Privacy Act, SPAM Act, and healthcare regulations.

  • Enable & Educate – Train team members on Braze features, debugging, and best-practice workflows.

Qualifications

  • Experience in CRM operations, marketing automation, or MarTech roles.

  • Expert hands-on Braze experience – audience segmentation, custom events, Liquid scripting, journey logic, and multichannel enablement.

  • Strong HTML/CSS, JSON, and SQL skills for CRM personalisation and data handling.

  • Understanding of data flows, CDPs (Segment, Hightouch), and API integrations.

  • Experience troubleshooting campaign misfires, automation bugs, and syncing issues.

  • Proven ability to document, structure, and maintain scalable CRM processes.

  • Knowledge of privacy, consent, and compliance best practices in regulated industries (healthcare experience highly regarded).

Additional Information

You'll be joining a high-performing, fast-paced team where your work drives meaningful impact in a leading tech company at the intersection of healthcare. We take pride in our driven and results-focused culture, where ambitious individuals can push the boundaries of innovation and contribute to better outcomes for Australians.

Other benefits include:

  • Gaining access to SAGED courses and more through the Greenhouse learning platform, fostering continuous growth and development.
  • Enjoying discounts with over 450 retailers through our Reward and Recognition platform.
  • The freedom of a full-time, work-from-home role.
  • Access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and select regional cities.
  • Mental health support through our wellbeing platform, Unmind.
  • A private health insurance discount through Medibank.
  • Up to 8 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • Swag kits to celebrate key milestones in your journey with us.
  • Enhance your home office with our work from home equipment allowance benefit.
  • Being part of one of the fastest-growing industries in Australia, improving the lives of hundreds of thousands of patients.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
