About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled CRM Specialist (Klaviyo) to manage, build, and optimize advanced automation flows for multiple e-commerce clients. In this role, you will work extensively with Klaviyo’s email and SMS automation tools, integrating with third-party systems, implementing event-based triggers, and ensuring accurate data synchronization across platforms such as Shopify and external services.
You’ll play a key role in shaping lifecycle marketing strategies with a strong technical focus—building responsive templates, troubleshooting issues, optimizing flows for conversion, and contributing to internal systems and automation frameworks. This role requires excellent communication, technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. If you thrive at the intersection of CRM, automation, and e-commerce data architecture, this is a great opportunity to make a high-impact contribution.
Responsibilities:
- Build and configure Klaviyo flows (email, SMS, conditional logic, event-based triggers).
- Optimize existing flows to improve conversion and engagement metrics.
- Monitor performance dashboards and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
- Integrate third-party tools via APIs, webhooks, and custom events.
- Manage advanced configurations between Klaviyo, Shopify, and external systems.
- Develop responsive email templates using HTML/CSS.
- Support creative/testing teams in experiments and campaign execution.
- Document processes and build scalable frameworks for internal efficiency.
- Contribute to the automation and systemization of internal operations.
Must Have:
- Proven hands-on experience working with Klaviyo in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or automation roles.
- Experience integrating systems using APIs, webhooks, and custom events.
- Strong technical foundation for managing Klaviyo–Shopify configurations.
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS and responsive email template development.
- Strong understanding of segmentation, automation logic, and lifecycle strategies.
- Experience working with e-commerce brands, ideally on Shopify.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop.
- Familiarity with SMS marketing and experimentation frameworks.
- Experience with additional ESPs or CRM platforms.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene
Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
