The team is highly passionate about providing innovative, low friction financial solutions to Australia’s leading residential real estate agencies focusing on campaign advertising.
The Head of Credit & Compliance plays a key role in leading and influencing key initiatives within the credit and compliance domain, ensuring CampaignAgent operates within established credit policies, frameworks, and regulatory obligations.
In the role you will, oversee credit risk management, promoting compliance with Australian credit and financial services laws and obligations and providing guidance to internal stakeholders on credit-related matters. You will also act as a Responsible Manager under the company’s Australian Credit Licence (ACL) and support Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) compliance.
What the role is all about

Credit Risk Management: Ensure adherence to credit policies and frameworks while maintaining a balanced risk appetite

Delegated Credit Authority (DCA): Exercise a high level of judgment and independence to uphold credit quality and meet responsible lending obligations

Escalation Support: Serve as the principal escalation point for credit-related queries, driving timelines and expectations across departments and functional management

Credit Risk Forum: Lead the strategic agenda of the Credit Risk Forum, ensuring robust governance and proactive follow-up on key action items

Responsible Manager (ACL): Fulfil obligations under the company’s Australian Credit Licence, ensuring regulatory compliance and best practices

AML/CTF Compliance: Oversee and execute compliance responsibilities under Australian Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing laws

Referral Network Oversight: Shape and drive compliance of the referral network of real estate agents, ensuring compliance with company standards and strategic initiatives

Risk & Compliance Coordination: Act as central point for coordinating multiple risk and compliance processes, leveraging strategic relationships with second-line risk and audit teams
Who we’re looking for
-
Runs on the board – 8-10 years' experience in consumer credit risk, compliance, or a similar role within the financial services industry

Deep understanding of the NCCP Act and associated ASIC guidelines and AML/CTF laws
-
Certificate IV in Finance or higher; or Bachelor of Law
-
Skilled in conceptual analysis and developing credit policies aligned with CampaignAgent’s objectives

Experience in holding and executing a Delegated Credit Authority (DCA)

Familiarity with credit risk assessment and escalation processes

Proficiency in regulatory requirements for Australian Credit Licence (ACL) holders

Experience in coordinating risk and compliance functions across first and second lines of defence

Strong interpersonal skills to engage strategically with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and referral networks

Proven leadership in performing secretariat duties for risk or credit-related forums
-
Ability to proactively influence and review business partnerships, particularly referral networks
