The Impact You Will Make:

The Course Production Coordinator is a role within the Academic Services team in Australia, supporting the delivery of high-quality online courses through structured production, media, quality assurance, and technology support activities.

Working under the guidance of senior team members, this role focuses on executing defined tasks, coordinating assets, and supporting established workflows to ensure course sites and media materials are prepared accurately and on schedule for each teaching session.

This role is well suited to a highly organised, detail-oriented individual who enjoys task-based work, follows clear processes, and is building foundational skills in course production, LMS administration, and digital learning technologies within a collaborative team environment.

What You Will Do:

  • Support end-to-end course production by completing assigned LMS and course set-up tasks for each teaching session, following established processes and timelines.
  • Coordinate production and media activities by tracking tasks, assets, and approvals, and ensuring required materials are ready for course delivery.
  • Assist with media and video workflows, including preparing asset briefs, supporting uploads and reviews, and completing transcript, captioning, and basic quality checks. 
  • Provide administrative and operational support by maintaining accurate records in Workfront, supporting vendor and invoice processing, and tracking schedules and deliverables.
  • Perform routine quality assurance checks and production improvements in the LMS and digital learning environments using defined checklists and standards.
  • Follow and help maintain documented production, media, and quality assurance workflows to support consistent and efficient delivery. 
  • Identify issues, risks, or inconsistencies and escalate them to senior team members in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Build capability over time by actively learning new tools, systems, and digital learning practices, with opportunities to gain exposure to learning design, and more advanced production and learning technology work as skills develop.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Assigned production, media, and LMS tasks are completed accurately, on time, and according to established standards.
  • Course sites and media assets are prepared correctly for each teaching session with minimal errors or rework. Issues are identified early and escalated appropriately, helping the team stay on schedule.
  • Administrative records, trackers, and documentation are kept up to date and reliable, supporting smooth team operations.

  • Assigned LMS, production, and media tasks are completed correctly and on schedule. Records, trackers, and documentation are consistently accurate and well maintained
  • Production and media workflows run smoothly due to timely task completion and clear communication.
  • Demonstrates growing confidence and independence with routine tasks within established parameters.

Experience That Matters Most:

  • Early career or entry-level experience supporting administrative, digital, education, or production workflows (through work, internships, or study). 
  • Ability to follow defined processes, manage multiple tasks, and deliver accurate work in deadline-driven environments.
  • Foundational familiarity with digital tools or platforms (e.g., LMS, media tools, content systems) and a strong willingness to learn.
  • Strong organisation, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication skills.

Experience That’s Great to Have:

  • Exposure to education, media or digital production environments.
  • Experience working with checklists, trackers or workflow tools.
  • Interest in digital learning technologies or accessibility practices.
