  • Infuse creativity and engagement into course design, ensuring alignment with video learning style.
  • Collaborate with scriptwriters to finalize course scripts and ensure instructional clarity.
  • Support expert instructors in adapting their subject knowledge for online delivery.
  • Customize courses for client businesses, tailoring content to meet specific needs.
  • Develop evaluations to assess learner comprehension and progress.
  • Create supplementary materials to enhance the learning experience.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Cultivate relationships with instructors, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Who you are

  • Proficiency in instructional design principles.
  • Application of adult learning principles.
  • Demonstrated track record of designing high-quality training, online or offline.
  • Experience or keen interest in the hospitality industry (preferred).
  • Possession of a Certificate IV Training and Assessment or equivalent.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong time management skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Background in Learning and Development.
  • Prior experience in instructional/learning design for training purposes.
  • Familiarity with online video course development and strategies for enhancing online engagement.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in delivering online content to diverse audiences, including senior and junior participants.
  •  Willing to be flexible with working hours when required.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
