Job Summary

DigiCert is looking for a Corporate Account Manager to join its sales and account management team. DigiCert is one of the largest Certificate Authorities in the world. We issue digital certificates that are used to secure websites with SSL/TLS encryption. Our growing roster of over 50,000 customers includes world-famous brands like Amazon.com, Twitter, Yahoo!, AT&T, BMW, and Sony. What you will do

  • Create and nurture relationships throughout sales cycle within designated/emerging markets 
  • Develop expertise of digital certificate application (and related technologies) within designated/emerging markets 
  • Navigate designated/emerging markets, articulate landscape and quantify and recommend opportunities to pursue 
  • Manage and consult with key partners in designated/emerging markets to drive joint opportunities 
  • Surface new development opportunities necessary to service designated/emerging markets 
  • Coordinate and collaborate with direct and channel sales teams internally
  • Interface with and potentially represent DigiCert to industry organizations relevant to designated/emerging markets 
  • Follow up on sales leads; Prepare quotes, contracts and RFP/RFI responses
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner
  • Produce, maintain, and update annual forecast
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify prospective partners
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity and follow up 
  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and developments that affect target markets 
  • Other duties as assigned 


What you will have

  • Minimum of 3 years account management or sales experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Media, Business Management, or equivalent work experience in a sales role. 
  • Demonstrated ability to generate revenue through relationships 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Competitive, persistent, and self-motivated to get things done 
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Quick learner - need to hit the ground running 
  • Able to interact with all levels within prospective clients (including C-level execs and government officials) 
  • Excellent presentation and customer relations skills 
  • Availability to travel 25% of the time


Nice to have

  • 3+ years of account management or sales experience in the technical field
  • Basic understanding of SSL and digital certificate technology preferred 
  • Experience with Salesforce and Data.com preferred 
  • Experience with managing and interacting with CRMs.
