POSITION SUMMARY:

AtriCure is seeking a highly organised, proactive and digitally capable Conventions & Events Specialist to support the execution of regional marketing, educational and customer engagement initiatives across Australia and Asia Pacific.

Working closely with the APAC Marketing team and partnering with Sales, Training & Education, Clinical, Regulatory, Compliance, Finance and external partners, this role will coordinate the delivery of congresses, educational programs, customer events, digital communications and broader marketing activities.

The successful candidate will combine strong event and project coordination skills with marketing and digital communications capability. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career marketing professional seeking to develop broad regional experience within an innovative and growing medical technology organisation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

Events, Congresses & Educational Programs

  • Coordinate the planning and execution of AtriCure participation at regional and local congresses AtriCure educational programs, workshops, summits across APAC with primary focus on ANZ.
  • Develop and maintain event project plans, timelines and action trackers to ensure activities are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Coordinate venues, accommodation, catering, audiovisual requirements, exhibition requirements and other event suppliers.
  • Manage faculty and delegate logistics including invitations, travel, accommodation and event communications.
  • Coordinate booth materials, marketing collateral, equipment, promotional materials and event logistics including shipping where required.
  • Support onsite execution of selected congresses and events across APAC.
  • Coordinate post-event surveys, attendance reporting and other measures of event effectiveness.
  • Support event budget tracking, purchase orders, invoices and reconciliation.

Digital Marketing & Communications

  • Support the development and execution of regional digital marketing and customer communication activities.
  • Coordinate customer email campaigns, event invitations, newsletters and other digital communications.
  • Support regional social media activity, including congress, educational program and product-related communications.
  • Maintain regional marketing and communications calendars.
  • Support webinars, virtual education and other digital customer engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain appropriate customer contact lists and distribution databases.
  • Coordinate the localisation and deployment of approved global digital content across APAC markets.
  • Track and report basic digital engagement metrics including registrations, email engagement and campaign performance.
  • Identify opportunities to extend the value of congresses and educational activities through pre- and post-event digital communications.

Marketing Operations

  • Support the day-to-day coordination of APAC marketing activities and projects.
  • Maintain regional marketing project plans, calendars, asset libraries and activity trackers.
  • Coordinate marketing agencies, designers, printers, event suppliers and other external vendors.
  • Support translation and localisation of marketing materials for APAC markets.
  • Coordinate marketing material inventory, ordering and distribution.
  • Support internal approval processes for marketing and customer-facing materials.
  • Coordinate purchase orders, invoices and marketing budget administration.
  • Support marketing requests from country teams and distributor markets.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of marketing activity dashboards and reporting.

Content & Marketing Collateral

  • Support the development of customer communications, event invitations, congress announcements and internal communications.
  • Coordinate the creation and adaptation of brochures, flyers, digital assets and other marketing collateral.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver creative assets against agreed briefs and timelines.
  • Support adaptation of global marketing materials to meet regional and local market requirements.
  • Ensure marketing materials and communications are accurate, consistent with AtriCure branding and appropriately approved prior to use.

 Cross-Functional & Regional Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Sales, Training & Education, Clinical, Regulatory, Compliance, Finance and other functions to support successful execution of regional initiatives.
  • Develop effective working relationships with country teams and distributor partners across APAC.
  • Coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders across different markets, cultures and time zones.
  • Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with applicable AtriCure policies, procedures and compliance requirements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management or a related discipline.
  • More than 5 years' experience in marketing coordination, events, communications or a related role.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating events, conferences, customer programs or similar projects.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience working with external agencies, suppliers and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of activities and proactively identify required next steps.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% as needed.
