The opportunity
As a Content Creator, you will play a pivotal role in developing educational content that captivates and transforms learning for teachers and students. Your expert knowledge in psychology will ensure that all content is not only useful but also tailored to the specific needs of our learners.
What You'll Do
- Write engaging educational content - video scripts, assessments and text lessons.
- Turn curriculum documents into clear, practical course and lesson plans that help teachers and support student success.
- Break down complex syllabus points using your psychology expertise to write content that’s easy to understand and tailored to students.
- Keep your knowledge sharp by staying up to date with subject content and evidence-based teaching strategies.
- Follow a detailed style guide to make sure content is consistent and right for our audience.
- Juggle multiple projects, manage your time well and meet tight deadlines.
- Work closely with Visual Content Designers, Subject Team Leads and others to deliver content that’s accurate, engaging and on-brand.
- Share ideas and help improve the way we work through feedback, workshops and team discussions.
What You'll Bring to Atomi
- Deep knowledge of secondary school psychology (VCE knowledge highly preferred).
- Strong grasp of how to deliver content that actually works for students.
- Excellent writing and editing skills - you can make tricky ideas easy to understand.
- A real passion for education and learning design.
- Comfortable working with others and explaining your thinking clearly.
- Confident using project management tools (or happy to learn).
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in a field related to psychology, with strong academic results.
- Teaching or tutoring experience is a bonus.
- An interest in learning design is great, but we’ll provide training if you're new to it.
