Job DescriptionThe Opportunity:
At Flywire, we are continuing to scale our global payments platform and strengthen our compliance framework across regions. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to support our Compliance Leaders in the Asia Pacific region.
This role offers hands-on exposure to core compliance operations, including KYC, transaction monitoring, fraud monitoring, sanctions screening, and regulatory support activities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in AML and regulatory compliance, along with experience in back-office compliance operations within a financial services or payments environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate client onboarding data and documentation within internal systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of KYC elements, including business activity classification and adverse media screening, in line with Flywire’s internal standards and applicable regulations.
- Participate in the weekly rotation of core compliance operations, including transaction monitoring, agent due diligence, responding to compliance-related queries from Sales and Operations, and supporting structured task delegation and oversight.
- Conduct periodic KYC refreshes for existing clients, ensuring updated documentation and ongoing due diligence in accordance with regulatory timelines and internal policies.
- Perform transaction monitoring and investigative reviews to identify unusual payment patterns or potentially fraudulent activity using internal tools, partner platforms, public sources, and payer communication records.
- Support sanctions screening processes, including reviewing and resolving potential matches against international watchlists (e.g., OFAC, UN, EU).
- Assist with regulatory and licensing-related requirements, including preparation and submission of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in accordance with jurisdictional obligations.
- Contribute to compliance assurance and audit readiness efforts, including internal quality assurance testing and coordination of external or governmental audit requests.
Here’s What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in compliance operations, ideally within payments, fintech, or financial services.
- Based in New Delhi or NCR.
- Working knowledge of payments regulatory frameworks and/or broader financial regulations.
- Familiarity with KYC, UBO identification, AML standards, and sanctions screening requirements.
- Understanding of SAR trigger points and reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risk and escalate appropriately.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to execute effectively within a small, agile team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with global stakeholders.
- Ability to manage workload effectively, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
